   LEARNING STYLE INVENTORY

https://teachingenglishgames.com/how-to-teach-english-for-different-learning-styles/

Every student has his own way of learning.Half of the students like to study in groups and there are also half of the students who prefer to study alone. This is because each student has his own way of learning. In addition to that, some of the student prefer to learn together in class but some also need movement to maintain focus in class. This is very crucial for you to know your own learning style either you are a auditory, visual or kinesthetic person. Each learning style have their own way to stay focus in what they do.Here are some of differences between an auditory,a visual and a kinesthetic learning style.

MY PERSONAL STYLE  LEARNING

This is one of the activities carried out by we are in class. Our lecturer asked us to fill out a questionnaire so that we can know more about what learning method suits our personality.

Eachh type of learning method has its own way.For example for the kinesthetic category, they perform physical activity to learn something,as an active participant, instead of passively listening to a lecture or watching a demonstration.Apart from that, those who have an audiotory learning type, they would prefer listening to a lecture over reading a textbook,or hearing the instructions for a project instead of figuring it out hands-on.Apart from the two types of learning there is another type of learning which is visual learning. They learn by reading or seeing pictures. They understand and remember things by sight. They can picture what they are learning in their head, and they learn best by using methods that are primarily visual.Based on this activity I can know that I am a person under the kinesthetic category. When I know my learning type it makes it easier for me to learn more effectively. This is because effective learning is from the right way of learning.

This is my learning sytle.Base on this activity I can identify the type of way of learning me.with this activity also I can review the lessons more effectively.

                       GOAL  SETTING

            WHAT IS A GOAL?

Goal setting is a process of planning your ideal furute and make effort to motivate yourself to turn your vision of our ideal future into reality.Besides that goal setting is the process of defining specific measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound objectives that an individual or organization aims to achieve. It involves identifying the desired outcomes and developing a plan for achieving them.Goals provide a framework for action and direction.

Every time our class will be given an assignment by the lecturer and the assignment must be submitted on the provided padlet. This is one of the activities we carry out during the learning session. This is my goal for this new journey as a university student.

Characteristic of goal

https://amirahshazwin.wordpress.com/author/amirahshazwin/

Specific:

·      Goals need to be specific so you actually aim at the right place. For like example, you aim to be a neatball player. But what position you want to play? If the position is centre you need to have a good stamina and fit and you need to have a good reflection to get a ball.

Measurable:

·      Make sure yon can track your progress.Like you know what’s the end looks like and also how long the work we need to do.

Relevant:

make sure you haave a relevemt goal that make yout look insane.

 Attainable:

Create a goal that is realistic.Goals that can be achieved in time or achievable.

Timely:

·      Set a deadline for your goals. So it motivates you to work harder than before.

A long term goal is something you what to accomplish in the future.Example for long term goal is you set at the end for year for yourself for two or three years from now.

Short term goal is the memory systems in the brain involved in remembering pieces of information for a short period of time, often up to 30 seconds.

SELF  REWARD

Every goal thaat has been achieved we are encouraged to give a little appreciation to ourselve so that we become more enthusiastic to continue to achieve the target we set.Among the examples of rewards that can be given to yourself is buying something expensive or going out to eat in a luxurious plaace with your loved one.

 STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING CONCENTRATION

POOR CONCENTRATION

While difficulty concentrating can be caused by loud noises or sleep problems, medical conditions can also be the source. Physical and mental health conditions impact how well we concentrate and stay focused on our tasks. These conditions can also lead to chronic concentration problems, which are harder to resolve.
